Abby had been rather giddy and bubbly as of late. Even more so than normal. She was pretty sure that nothing could bring her mood down right now. It had been a while since she had last gone out on a date, since it had taken her a while to calm down after Mikel Mawher. Yet it didn't keep her from coming across guys who were similar who she found interesting. Most of the members of her team frequently told her she had a bad taste in men, and for the most part, it was true, but she felt that this time she had found someone they would even agree with. Well okay, maybe not. Her new boyfriend was a bit unusual, but no more than Abby was herself. And he was sweet. He had given her black roses, which were the best kind of course, and she had put them in a vase near her computer. Whenever she looked over, they brought a smile to her face. It had been a while since she had received flowers from a non-NCIS person. Abby felt that it was definitely nice to be appreciated. The goth smiled to herself as she went through the evidence that Tony had so kindly bestowed upon her, practically skipping as she went to check each of her machines, looking to see if any of them had found something. So far, nothing, but that was okay. Abby was in too good of a mood to care just yet. She sipped her Caf-Pow and bustled about the lab with her usual energy. She knew that Gibbs would eventually come in, asking for results, but usually he came right on schedule. At least, he always seemed to know when she had actually found something.
It was an uncanny ability. Abby liked to say that he was psychic, or that he had some other supernatural ability that allowed him to know the perfect time to enter Abby's lab. She knew it wasn't true, and it did annoy Gibbs, but it was fun to speculate anyway. Because there was never a time where he walked in that she didn't have at least something new to report to him. Maybe she wouldn't have a lot, but she'd at least have a tidbit that would further the investigation while she continued to look for clues as to what might have happened. "Alright guys, you know it's important that you work hard for this investigation. I know I've told you that every time, but this one is even more important. You wanna know why? Because it has to do with the President. Now, I'm not saying he did it, I'm saying, that it's to do with the safety of the President, and well, I'm not entirely sure. But know that it is extremely crucial that you guys give me your results....well faster." Abby informed her silent audience. Every time there was a new case, she gave her babies ''the speech.'' And each time she explained a different reason why they should work really hard. Either way, Abby would no doubt spend all day and many nights in this lab searching for the answers to help solve the case. She heard the ding of the elevator and turned, smiling as she watched McGee walk in. She hurried forward and gave him a big hug. "McGee!! I'm so glad you're here. You know, I was hoping you'd come down here earlier." She informed him before pulling away and beaming at him. She had no idea why he was down there, but right then she didn't care, she just wanted to talk to him.

Lately, McGee hadn't been in the best of moods. He had writer's block with his latest book, his parents were getting on his case to visit them again, and his mother was hounding him to find a nice girl and get married. She didn't seem to understand that McGee would if he could, but he couldn't. He still had some feelings for Abby, that and every girl he tried to date died, tried to kill him, or they were just nuts. It seemed like there were no good, not crazy, single girls left in D.C. or the surrounding area.
Tim sat at his desk, staring around boredly. He had already completed the tasks assigned to him, and was now he was left to stare blankly at the wall across the room. Tim finally had enough and decided he had better at least do something somewhat productive. He got up and walked towards the elevator where he desended down to Abby's lab. Tim got out and walked into one of his favorite places in the whole world. Almost immediantly, he was pulled into one of Abby's famous hugs. "Hey, Abs. Glad to be here? Whats got you in such a good mood?" He asked with a small smile.(OOC: Sorry for the length, I had a bit of writer's block!)
