APPEARANCE:

Tali is on the short side in her family, her skin is naturally tanned, she has medium length raven black hair that sits just below her shoulder blades. Her eyes are chocolate brown and are very expressive, she is about average weight, unlike her older sister she has more delicate features. Curves a curse in the David family, wide hips. Tali almost always wear's her hair down with only the top layer pulled back, her thick locks usually break the standard hairbands she has to buy the reinforced ones,as for dress she dresses for the job, not to look pretty though she seems to turn heads no matter what she is wearing. Her ears are pierced like most Israeli women and she always has the Star of David around her neck.

PERSONALITY:

Talia is a very headstrong woman, she knows what she wants and how to obtain it. She does not let anyone run her over easily and she keeps to her word, what she says she means. The importance of family is HUGE to Tali, she puts her family first always. She is very over protective of those she cares about, especially her sister. Talia takes jokes and things that are said a bit to seriously and tends to overreact, ex. "Oh haha your lame" she will take that to offense and probably blow off the person. She holds grudges, she is not likely to forgive you if you have broken her trust, trust must be gained before it can even be broken. Once you have gained Inessa's trust she has you back one hundred percent of the way, she may not agree with your decisions, religion, political views etc, but she will always look out for your best interest.

When she is angry she shuts down, she gets really quiet and keeps her emotions from showing the moment you see her loose all emotion you know she is angry. Anger look out! She has a bit of a temper and if anyone is in her way, comments about her being angry she looses it, when she looses control she tends to yell and scream and sometimes even throw things. She does not get violent with other people though unless they are intentionally trying to hurt her. When she is sad she also shuts down but this is different, she gets really depressed and stops eating, she stops enjoying life, and stops enjoying spending time with loved ones, she shuts herself off locking herself in her room.

She likes getting her way and being right as many women do, she likes to take the leads on cases even though she isn't the "boss" and probably will never be the boss. She likes to envelop herself in her work, she enjoys it, it makes her happy. She likes to make other people laugh and smile, she is a giver. She dislikes being told what to do but her formal military training changed that very quickly, she doesn't like to be bossed around though, she will take orders but will not put up with being "bossed" she dislikes when people act like children, she believes that you act your age, you live longer. She dislikes when her teammates fight there is no use in fighting amongst themselves, it leads to no where.

HISTORY:

Talia Uela David was born in Tel Aviv, Israeli to Eli and Rivka David the youngest of the three David children. As a child Tali was pushed to follow in her older sister's, Ziva, footsteps. Talia didn't understand why her father couldn't love her for the adorable, squishy little girl she was. He pushed her to be better than Ziva to work harder, to want it. Little Tali wanted to prove to her father that she could run with the big boys, and she did, she was thrown out into the forest just as Ziva had and given a pocket knife and a compass and told to survive. Tali did it, she came back bruised and dehydrated and hungry. But that was her father's proof. He started training her young, which Rivka, her mother didn't like, all three of her children were exposed to the constant war in Israel as it was she didn't want them to work for Mossad. Tali was very close to Moshe Yadin, the two were what you could say a thing and Tali had developed feelings for him when they got older. One day Rivka had enough of Eli and decided to leave him, which was dangerous for her to do, she took Tali trying to save her from her father's brainwashing words. It was already too late for Ari and Ziva. When Tali went away it killed her to have to leave Moshe behind, he was her best friend, but she knew her mother took her to keep her safe. The two hid for years until Tali was sixteen, she had gone out to practice her fighting behind her mother's back and was caught up in a Hamas bombing. Talia David was pronounced dead and the body was never recovered. Talia was taken hostage by Hamas leader, and made a servant girl, she was then sold to a man name Saleem Ulman in Somalia and there she stayed until she was twenty.

Talia's life in Somalia was nothing close to freedom, it was freedom from Hamas but she wasn't treated any better in Somalia. Saleem kept her in room in his basement where he barely kept her alive. It was a way to negotiate with Mossad, Tali was the item. For seven years she lived there barely alive, and every time she tried to fight him he sedated her and pumped her full of drugs. Talia wasn't rescued until she her twenty third birthday by Kidon, Malachi Ben-Gidon was the one that dragged her out of there. After this Talia didn't know that her own sister, was Saleem's prisoner as well, he kept Talia a secret from her father until she became of importance to him again. Kidon couldn't get back into Somalia to rescue Ziva, Saleem's men had them surrounded and captured, Talia was apart of Kidon as well, she wanted to save Ziva. She managed to slip back into Saleem's clutches..that night that she was presented to him it was not to keep her prisoner this time it was for his own enjoyment. No one seemed to hear her screams or care. Talia was sent back to Mossad, she had lost everything..and now her father was disappointed in her for not following orders. Ever since then he kept a very tight leash on Tali she couldn't go anywhere without Eli having eyes on her.

Talia is in D.C. now paying a visit to older sister, to make things right, and fixing broken ties. Things aren't exactly going in her favor, she is a full time Mossad agent, and she didn't tell her father where she was traveling too. She just left, with hopes that maybe she could fix things with Ziva. Talia has changed quite a bit she isn't sweet and naive anymore, her time in Somalia changed her drastically.

the STORY
just a bitterness that followed me a saddening surprise

Tali looked up at him and then nodded she would tell him what he wanted to know even..though it would kill her to even think about that place again..she would rush until she got to the part about traveling, that was the only plus side she got out of her disappearing. "אתה כנראה צריך לשבת .."(You should probably sit down..) she whispered pulling away and taking the chair across from his desk and pushing it to the other side, that was hard enough..she was tired and well felt like she could pass out right now. She sat down and took a deep breath where to start..after the bombing would be a good place, honestly she didn't even remember the bomb going off..when she awoke she was in the infirmary but it all the signs were in Arabic that's how she knew she wasn't in Israel anymore..she was only sixteen she was scared she cried for her father and the man that came she had never seen before..he lied to the nurse about who Talia was..she just wanted to scream when she heard that he called himself her father. He said she must be suffering from memory loss due to the shock-wave of the bomb the nurse dismissed it and went on with caring for Talia's wounds..

She blinked twice before opening her mouth to speak then shut it again..she was thinking how best put this..either way it wasn't going to make her tale any better. "אני לא זוכר מה קרה לפני הפיגוע או כשזה קרה .. אני רק זוכרת שהתעוררתי בבית החולים .. בתוך פלסטין. כשהתעוררתי לא ידעתי איפה אני .. אני רק יודע שלא הייתי בארץ יותר .. ואדם הוא טען שהוא אבי כל כך החולים לא חושב שהוא חטף אותי, שאני פשוט לא הבין. ."(I do not remember what happened before the bombing or when it happened..all I remember is waking up in the infirmary..in Palestine. When I woke up I did not know where I was..I just knew I wasn't in Israel anymore..and a man he claimed to be my father so the hospital did not think he had abducted me which I just had realized..) she let out another deep breath trying to keep herself calm this was only the beginning of it she hadn't gotten to the worst part yet. The man was not alone..there were multiple men there..she remembered how scared she was.. "כאשר הפצעים טופלו האיש לקח לי וקיבלנו במשאית ונסעו מדי מפקדת חמאס .. אני לא יודע מי האנשים היו עד שהגענו לבניין .. כשהגעתי לשם לקחו אותי מנהיגם הוא גרם לי עבד .. אני סבל מכות מכולם .. אני הייתי שם עד שמצאו טעם לי .. אמרו משהו על מינוף בין המוסד לבין החמאס, אבל הם אף פעם לא הלך עם זה עד הסוף. הם מכרו לי גם סומליה, כאשר אנשים החלו לרחרח .. זה היה יותר ארגון טרור .. ב .."(When my wounds were treated the man took me and we got in a truck and drove off too Hamas headquarters..I did not know who the men were until we got to the building..when I got there they took me to their leader and he made me a slave..I endured beatings from all of them..I was there until they found no use for me..they said something about leverage between Mossad and Hamas but they never went through with it. They sold me too the Somali when people began snooping around..it was too a terrorist group..I-I..) Talia wiped the few tears that fell and sighed trying to catch her breath.


Talking about this felt like all the oxygen was being removed from her lungs, the horrible truth suffocated her to the point where she had to cough, that turned in into wheezing she shook her head she was okay. She sat up straight..she didn't realize how hard she was clenching the chair's arms her knuckles had turned white and her body was tense. The slight memory of that jail of a room Saleem kept her in sent chills down her spine..the screams that came to mine every time he payed her a visit. The days when she had been naive and thought he would keep his word..what a foolish child she had been. She did not wish to speak of it anymore..Somalia was a bad place..she fell silent to let her father catch up and process the first half of the her whereabouts.
