A long list of VIPs was set to be entertained by Trueman that evening, including none other than the President of the United States himself. The Kennedy Center is used to hosting the President and the Secret Service felt at ease as they ever do inviting so many distinguished guests to the party. The Defense Summit concluded earlier that day and the comedy show was meant to ease tensions and put people back in a proper mindset to talk to the media the next day. The guest list includes all of the following illustrious personages:
Leon Vance - Director of NCIS
Director of the FBI
Director of the CIA
Head of the Defense Intelligence Agency
Director of the National Security Agency
Head of the National Reconnaissance Office
Director of Homeland Security
Director of Defense
Representatives from the Army, Navy, and Air Force intelligence agencies
Foreign dignitaries from Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Japan, and others.
President of the United States
Other guests include private defense and intelligence contractors from across the globe, honored guests, and rubberneckers. There are approximately 125 invited guests and their own families and guests.
The president has been removed to an undisclosed location. All other guests have been detained and are rightfully annoyed at having missed their show as well as their evening.
None of them seem to know anything about the death of Petty Officer First Class Kingsley Trueman, but that doesn't absolve NCIS of the duty to interview them all.
